Frequently Asked Questions
How do flashcards help you study?
Flashcards work through active recall — instead of passively reading notes, you force your brain to retrieve information. Combined with spaced repetition (reviewing cards you struggle with more often), flashcards are one of the most evidence-backed study methods available.
What should I put on flashcards?
Keep each card focused on one concept. Good candidates: vocabulary definitions, historical dates, math formulas, scientific terms, foreign language words, grammar rules, and key facts. Avoid putting too much text on a single card — if it needs more than 2-3 sentences, split it into multiple cards.
Are my flashcards saved?
Your cards are kept in memory while the tab is open. They are not saved to a server. To keep your deck, don't close the tab while studying. We're working on local save functionality for a future update.
